In Ihrer wöchentlichen Pflegeroutine sollte die Überprüfung des pH-Werts Ihres Whirlpoolwassers immer oberste Priorität haben. Es war noch nie so einfach, die Gesundheit Ihres Whirlpools zu gewährleisten!
Der pH-Wert ist der entscheidende Faktor, um die optimale Wasserqualität aufrechtzuerhalten. Im idealen Whirlpoolbereich liegt dieser Wert zwischen 7,0 und 7,4 auf einer Skala von 0 bis 14. Wenn der pH-Wert zu niedrig ist, sollten Sie aufmerksam sein, da Ihr Whirlpool und seine Komponenten Schaden nehmen könnten – und das möchten wir unbedingt verhindern! Ein zu hoher pH-Wert führt zu basischem Wasser, was wiederum Rostbildung an Metallteilen und eine geringere Wirksamkeit Ihrer Desinfektionsmittel wie Chlor zur Folge hat. Aber das ist noch nicht alles – ein unausgeglichener pH-Wert kann auch für den unangenehmen Effekt von roten Augen beim Baden verantwortlich sein. Und das hat nichts mit dem Chlorgehalt zu tun, wie oft fälschlicherweise angenommen wird. Der pH-Wert tendiert dazu, aufgrund des warmen Wassers und der Bewegung ins Basische zu driften.
